Another great nature route is what connects Rosignano Marittimo with Castellina Marittima and the Pisane hills. ere are many possibilities for swimming and sunbathing along the coast. From north to south, the recom- mended resorts are Castiglioncello just 17 km away with Fortullino Beach. Marina di Castagneto with about 12 km of coast–largely free and not very crowded even in high season. It is located north of the river Seggio in the southern area between Pianetti and San Vincenzo. e beautiful Gulf of Baratti is about 50km away– with a scenic beach sheltered from the Scirocco winds.

For the enthusiasts of thermal baths, do not miss the experience at Terme di Sassetta–a small spa surrounded by nature and part of the agricultural surroundings of La Cerreta.
